the primary dike. The new landscape can act

as buffer during high water events.

Using existing landscape elements to incorporate

into a coastal zone. The primary dike stays in place,

but is adapted to create habitats in inland areas.

to create an inland freshwater buffer that is

connected to the adjacent lake.
