Introduction
What is HYMOS?
HYMOS is an information system for storage, processing and presentation of hydrological and environmental data. It combines an efficient database structure with powerful tools for data entry, validation, completion, analysis, retrieval and presentation.
HYMOS optimally serves the needs of water authorities - like hydro-meteorological services and water boards - responsible for monitoring network operation and database management. The wide variety of data processing and analysis features make HYMOS very suitable for typical project application in water-related studies, research and consultancy. These projects often require processing of large amounts of data in a limited time frame.
HYMOS is used world-wide in over 30 countries by water authorities, consultants, research institutes and universities. Through continuous feedback from users all over the world during the more than 25 years of it's existence, HYMOS developed into a flexible and multi-functional hydrological information system.

HYMOS is comprehensive, well tuned and easy to use. The graphical and map-based user interface offers a pleasant and efficient working environment. The information system facilitates processing of a wide range of water-related data. Fields of application include:

Op 29 mei aanstaande wordt de Nederlandse FEWS-HYMOS gebruikersdag gehouden. Klik hier voor meer informatie en hoe u zich kunt opgeven.
Op 29 mei aanstaande organiseert Deltares de gebruikersdag FEWS-HYMOS voor de Nederlandstalige gebruikers. Het programma zal 's ochtends gaan over HYMOS en historische databases. 's Middags staan nieuwe ontwikkelingen, vooral in FEWS, op het programma, zoals de ontwikkelingen van het afgelopen jaar op het gebied van hoogwatervoorspelling, waterkwaliteit en grondwatergegevens. Ook de nieuwe ontwikkelingen op het gebied van de configuratie komen aan bod.
