Select a range of scans in a GEF file

Why run zoomsave?

The general idea of the program is that you can zoom in on your data, during a particular phase of an experiment. E.g. when consolidating a model with clay, a few days are filled with rather boring data. More interesting is the phase in which the model is loaded with a storm surge. To zoom in on the loading phase, zoomsave is used. Using a graphical user interface the user selects a portion of the data. He or she can zoom in even further. When the user is finally pleased with the selected data, it can be saved as a GEF file, with considerable less file size.

Zooming is done in an XY coordinate system. A graph will be drawn, e.g of a displacement transducer versus time. The user can choose the quantities it wants to plot, in order to assist him/her with the section of data that is interesting. Note that not just the selected quantities are zoomed in, but all columns are zoomed in accordingly. In doing so, the program keeps the integrity of the resulting data and header uncompromised.

How to get it?
