Introduction
In this section a dictionary is presented for the GUI of SOBEK. This dictionary is not supposed to be complete, but it will contain these items that are ambiguous.
The attachments contain an alternative list of terms as used in the PlanningKit. The PlanningKit bases it terminology on the terminology developed for DSS's in the FLOODsite project.
Terminology
Name | Description |
|---|---|
Case | Complete set of data, consisting of model, boundary conditions, meteo data, calculation results, etc. for performing a model run. In the DelftShell term case is not used, data or models are grouped into folders so user can use all data and models in one folder as a case. |
Project | A collection of one or more 'cases'. Saving several cases in a project can be useful when a user wants to compare different models. |
