Collaborative modelling promotes the fruitful engagement and participation of decision makers and stakeholders in the analysis and assessment of policy options. Computer-based modelling, communication and visualization tools are used to support these analyses, with stakeholders involved during one or more stages of the design, construction and use of these tools.

What is collaborative modeling ?  

“Need to simplify and translate complex models and datasets into information that can be easily communicated and understood by local stakeholders, as models and tools are a means to support dialogue between stakeholders” (WB & ADB at Stockholm 2016). It emphasize the importance of involving stakeholders in a modelling process (model construction/ model use to analyze measures/strategies
