An example of the NETCDF-CF_GRID_MATROOS export can be found at NETCDF-CF_GRID. The only difference is that the exportType must be changed to NETCDF-CF_GRID_MATROOS.

Since 2024.02 it is possible to change the name of the Z variable, which defaults to "height above mean sea level" to a (long) name of your choice using the custom property "Z_LONG_NAME". See the NETCDF_CF_Grid export for a configuration example.
