This module was frequently used with the old what-if scenarios which will reach its end-of-life (EOL) status in the coming years. This means that there will be no active development of this module. Configurators are urged The taskrun dialog display will still be supported, but the connection with the old what-if scenarios will not be available anymore after the deprecation of the what-if scenarios. If you want to use what-if scenarios, we urge you to use the new what-if editor instead, see 34 What-If Templates - What-If Editor. Task Run Dialog display
The Task Run Dialog display is a display plug-in that allows the user to run external tasks and modify data of whatif-scenarios before running the task. For example it can used to upload and download archives from an archive server. or to run a forecast while at the same time storing a value in a timeseries that can be used by the forecast.
