The document describes how to generate OpenMI dlls and executables on a Linux machine. This is done by using Mono, a .NET Open Source software for different platforms. Most of the OpenMI functionality could be was ported:
- the definitions of the standard OpenMI . Standard,
- the source development kit SDK,
- running OpenMI from command line or with GUIs in the ConfigurationEditor,
- some LinkableComponents of the examples.
