Het project ‘Beheer en onderhoud van de Nederlandse kust (B&O Kust)’ heeft tot doel om onderzoeksvragen over suppleties te beantwoorden en de kennis over het kustsysteem uit te breiden en te verspreiden. Hierin werken Deltares en Rijkswaterstaat samen.

Rijkswaterstaat en Deltares werken ook samen in het KPP programma ‘Kennisontwikkeling Morfologie Waddenzee’. Rijkswaterstaat en Programma naar een Rijke Waddenzee hebben in 2016 het programma gestart dat zowel betrekking heeft op kennisontwikkeling als de bijbehorende organisatie rondom de morfologische ontwikkelingen van de Nederlandse Waddenzee.
