Introduction
The geology of New Orleans in relation with groundwater is described here.For a good description various cross sections with geological features are made available via an interactive map. assessed through historic documents and a field campaign. The findings in relation to subsurface and subsidence vulnerability are available in the report presented below. Furthermore, this page refers to an open-access database of boreholes across New Orleans.
