This is the home page for the OpenEarth space at http://openearth.deltares.nl.

h3. OpenEarth wiki philosophy
This *wiki* is intended to be a low-level area to share documents, links and knowledge snippets. When logged in you can edit the site. When you press 'edit' formatting help is available.

For the more *sophisticated management* of Data, Models and Tools the OpenEarth repositories are used (NB: login required):

The Data, Models and Tools and tools in these repositories will be shared via web services employing international standards like [netCDF|http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/], [CF parameter meta-data| http://cf-pcmdi.llnl.gov/], [EPSG spatial meta-data|http://www.epsg.org/], [INSPIRE owner meta-data|http://www.inspire-geoportal.eu], [OPeNDAP|http://opendap.org/] and [opengis|http://www.opengeospatial.org/] web map/feature/coverage servcies ([WMS|http://www.opengeospatial.org/standards/wms], [WCS|http://www.opengeospatial.org/standards/wcs], [WFS|http://www.opengeospatial.org/standards/wfs]). The dta collection procedure and the relation between those standards is shown in figure and in the MICORE [Data Standards] document.

You can view the content of these repositories with your browers after logging in or you can [access the repository with a SubVersion client| SubVersion], that provides write access as well.
