Introduction
In this section a dictionary is presented for the GUI of SOBEK. This dictionary is not supposed to be complete, but it will contain these items that are ambiguous.
The attachments contain an alternative list of terms as used in the PlanningKit. The PlanningKit bases it terminology on the terminology developed for DSS's in the FLOODsite project.

Case |
Complete set of data, consisting of model, boundary conditions, meteo data, calculation results, etc. for performing a model run. |
Project |
A collection of one or more 'cases'. Saving several cases in a project can be useful when a user wants to compare different models. |
Run |
A run is a computer simulation of a particular 'case'. The results of a run will be stored in the case. In general several runs can be performed on a case. However only the results of the latest run will be saved. Therefore if a new run is performed on a case the old results will be discarded. |
