From 1998 till 2010 the JONSMOD Organizing Committee consisted of:
Phil Dyke (Plymouth, United Kingdom)
Alan Davies (Liverpool, United Kingdom)
and active local organisers.
Since 2012 JONSMOD applies a rotating chairmanship. Pierre Garreau from IFREMER, Brest organized the JONSMOD2012 conference and was the chairman till the 2014 conference. In 2014, Patrick Luyten from MUMM, Brussels organized the JONSMOD2012 conference and has taken over the JONSMOD chairmanship. In 2016, the JONSMOD 2016 conference will be organised in Oslo at the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway) and will be hosted by Lars Petter Røed (larspr@met.no).
