The CUR has taken the initiative to generate guidelines for exchanging results of geotechnical tests, using the GEF format. These guidelines have been composed in coorperation with the industry and research & knowledge institutes in the geotechnical and geo-environmental domain. These CUR guidelines are called "standards". Since the CUR is recognised as an independent institute, their guidelines have a national impact.
