Database Trends Analysis page
The Delft-FEWS master-controller database is designed to always contain the latest data. New records can be imported into the database frequently while the Rolling Barrel will remove older data regularly based on the expiry time. Some configurations may cause the database to contain more data than necessary. The Database Trends page aims to provide insight in the trends of the byte size / amount of records (rows) present in the master-controller database. The overviews over here do not show all tables, only tables with an expiryTime and a localAvailableTime are listed. The displayed information is generated on basis of the current contents of the database. Note that the displayed estimates in bytes are only summing up an estimate of the actual bytes of the records and not the overhead by the database or the indices on the database tables. The periods displayed are all in GMT. For instance, the record count since midnight only account for records since 0:00 GMT.
Custom period filter
This filter fields can be used to set a period for which to analyse the number of records / bytes. The result of this filter is shown in the custom period column of each table. A calendar will popup when clicking on the start and end date.
Record count
This overview displays the amount of records (rows) with an expiry time stored in the listed tables of the master-controller database.
Byte estimate
This overview displays an estimate of the raw bytes of data with an expiry time stored in the listed tables of the master-controller database.
Expiring records
This overview displays the amount of records (rows) with an expiry time stored in the listed tables of the master-controller database that are due for removal by the rolling barrel.
Expiring bytes
This overview displays an estimate of the raw bytes of data stored with an expiry time in the listed tables of the master-controller database that are due for removal by the rolling barrel.
