The library consists of reoprts, papers, books and website links that focus on uncertainty related to flood risk. The figure below shows a snapshot of the library. Note that there are three main folders:

1. The safety assessment of the flood defences

2. Consequences of flooding

3. Operational forecasting

Currently, the main focus is on the first field: safety assessment of the flood defences. The example below shows a list of reports and papers. On the left you see the structure of the library, and on the right you see a summary of the selected report. The tags associated with this report determine which subfolder it belongs to. The selected report belongs to two main subcategories: hydraulic loads (HBC = hydraulic boundary conditions) and quantitative techniques. More information about keyword guidelines is given in the Keyword Instructions tab of this website.

Each report or paper contains a plus-symbol, which means that there is an attachment associated with the report. The attachment may be a PDF of the report, or it may be a link to a website where the report can be downloaded. There may also be notes associated with the report - for example the stated objectives of the study, or indications where the uncertainty information in the report an be found.



 

The library contains three fields of focus:

The most extensive part of this library is related to the first field: uncertainty in the safety assessment of the flood defences.
