Welcome to the MinIO Wiki. Here you can find all necessary information on the Deltares object repository.

The Deltares MinIO object repository can be found at: https://s3-console.deltares.nl/

    What is MinIO?

MinIO is a High-Performance Object Storage released under GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. It is API compatible with the Amazon S3 cloud storage service. It is capable of working with unstructured data such as photos, videos, log files, backups, and container images with the maximum supported object size being 50TB.

Using separately or together with your GIT repository

MinIO can be used separately to store and share project files in a cloud-environment as you would use the Deltares P-drive to store project files.
It is also possible to link your MinIO bucket to your GIT code repository and use it as a Large File Store. How to do this is explained here

    Costs

There are costs involved in using MinIO. Therefor you are required to provide a project number when requesting a MinIO bucket.

The costs are the same as for using the P-drive:

When requesting a new MinIO bucket you must provide the following information:

Bucket name: Name of bucket. Name must follow naming convention.

    Expected storage capacity (? MB/GB)

Project number: This is required for billing. The prices for MinIO storage capacity are the same as for project data.
