When creating a new soil profile, the first row can not be changed.and is a kind of a place holder to showing the top and bottomlevel of the surface line
Use the green Plus-button to add a soil layer and fill in exactly the Top Level of the profile with a soil typename type name (eg Silty clay, if exists).
The first line disappearce disappears when the toplevel of the soillayer lies above the surface line.
