Historical events

It is possible to define historical events by using the archive display. Historical events are a special type of event. If data in the archive is marked as being part of a historical event, the archive will export this data to the folder /root archive/historical event. FEWS will periodically run an import for historical events to import historical events from this folder. After the import the historical events are available in the time series dialog.

If a historical event is available for a time series which is being displayed in the time series dialog then a the historical event button will be shown (see image above).

After clicking on this button the display above appears. A list of historical events which is available for this displayed time series will shown.

After selecting 1 or more events the time series for these events will be displayed in the time series dialog. By using the arrow buttons the time series can be shifted to the left or right.
