After selecting 1 or more events the time series for these events will be displayed in the time series dialog. By using the arrow buttons 
and 
the time series can be shifted to the left or right. The historical event will be shifted by a single time step to the left or right when using the buttons. When multiple time series are shown the smallest time step will be used. If you display is zoomed out then another rule will be used. As long as displayed period divided by 100 is smaller then the time step of the displayed time series then the time step of the time series will be used. But as soon as this is no longer the case then the displayed period divided by 100 will be used when shifting the historical events.
