Aggregated series

The original series. , i.e. the series to be aggregated, is called basic series. The series with the aggregates is called the aggregated series.

...

1. for instantaneous observations the aggregated data are averages of the originals, e.g. discharges in m^3^ m3/s.
2. for accumulative observations the aggregated data are the sums of the originals, e.g. rainfall or runoff in mm.

...

  • for instantaneous observations:
    Y~j~ Yj = (1/n)(10 X~1X1,j~ j + 10 X~2X2,j~ j + (n-20) X~3X3,j~ j )
  • for accumulative observations:
    Y~j~ Yj = X~1X1,j~ j + X~2X2,j~ j + X~3X3,j~ j
    where:
    X~i Xi,j~ j = i-th decade of month j
    Y~j~ Yj = j-th month
n = number of days in month j

  • Select one or more basic series from the Series Codes list.
  • Select time intervals of aggregated series where Dt~basic~ Δtbasic < Dt~aggregated~Δtaggregated
  • Press <Execute> to execute the aggregation.

The newly aggregated series can be shown in a
