Delft-Fews can read grib files and display these. the Ugrib program (http://www.grib.us/) can be used to download (sections) of the CFS gobal weather model. If you follow the following steps you can use this program to downoud download files and import them directly into Delft-Fews.

1. Create the Import/UGRib directory
2. Create the ID mapping for the UGrib import using the following mapping (see attached example) and add to the idmapdescriptors:

   internalParameter	internalLocation	externalParameter	externalLocation
   Pressure.msl	UGrib	2	UGrib
   P.nwp.forecast	UGrib	61	UGrib
   Wind.u	UGrib	33	UGrib
   Wind.v	UGrib	34	UGrib

3. Create an Import moduleInstance for the grib files (e.g. ImportUGrib, see example) and add the the moduleinstancedescriptors
4. Add the new module to the import workflow
5. configure the Grid display the display the grib files
