Some functions of the DELFT-FEWS use the report component to present the results. For example the critical condition lookup tables defined in for example coastal forecasting only produce index time series. Without post-processing of these indexesindices, a user can never see what is happening in his coastal system. The report component will therefore also be used to interpret the indexes indices and transform these into information that a user can understand. The ValueAttributeMaps (see Regional Configuration) define how these indices are to be transformed to understandable strings and/or icons.
