There are several data formats associated to WDSS II (see http://www.cimmswdssii.ou.edu/~lakshman/WDSS2/dataformat.shtmlorg/). Delft-FEWS only supports importing of WDSS II files of type "SparseLatLonGrid". These are netcdf files with regular grid data that is stored using run-length compression. For this data format each netcdf file contains data for only one timeStep.
