Luitze Perk (WaterProof BV) is - in collaboration with Deltares and Leo van Rijn (LVRS) - currently setting up the projectplan for the first phase of laboratory experiments. Late august/ beginning of September we collected field samples from the Western Scheldt and Noordpolderzijl. The collected samples cover a wide range of densities and sand-mud percentages. Currently, lab tests are carried out (sediment composition, grain size distribution, settling, erosion).
