Since FEWS 2022.02 the Delft-FEWS Web Services can be started from a standalone or operator client with the F12 menu option: "start embedded tomcat web services" or which will try to start the FewsWebServices on port 8080 which makes it available on your local machine at: http://localhost:8080/FewsWebServices/.
