The following minimum system requirements are needed in order to run and install the D-Flow Slide software:

- 512 MB of RAM
- 500 MB free hard disk space
- SVGA videokaart, 1024 x 768 pixels, high colors (16 bits)
D-Flow Slide projectfile
The project file of D-Flow Side has the extention *.fsx with the folowing properties:
- It is a XML-file
- It contains the input data with the problem definition. This file can be reused in subsequent analyses.
- After a calculation has been performed, all output data is written into this file.
