The Soil table for the Global and Detailed models (check the filter) contains several parameters.

The user can add new rows to the soil table or change the properties of the soil

NOTE: The state parameter Ψ5m entered per layer is used only in step 1 of the Global check to determine the thickness of the sensitive layer(s) Hvw.

The description of all these parameters can be found on the page Input parameters.

The user can create the Soil profile for D-Flow Slide by selecting existing soil layer properties from the Soil table and specifying the Top or Bottom levels of each layer

RD-coordinates X and Y are defined in the program DAM to specify the position ot the embankment in global coordinates.

The other parameters speak for themselves. The description of these parameters can be found on the page Input parameters.

Note (work-around)

When creating a new soil profile, the first row can not be changed.and is a kind of a place holder to show the top and bottomlevel of the surface line

Use the green Plus-button to add a soil layer and fill for the second row in exactly the Top Level of the profile with a soil type name (eg Silty clay, if exists).

The first line disappears when the toplevel of the soillayer lies above the surface line.
