New cohesive sediment transport formula has been implemented in Delft3d4 kernal. The new formula call Kitamura 1995. It is one of mud formula that has been validated in Funagira Reservoir.

Kitamura formula is implemented and validated in Delft3D4. The formula is now under validation and use for various application. This formula obtaines the critical shear stress of the bed based on the bed porosity.
The existing cohesive sediment transport forumula (Partheniades -Krone, 1965) available in the software obtains the critical shear stress of the bed from the user-defined input parameters.
