Background

To make the NGMS configurations more manageable for WR-HQ and CIS, a change needs to be applied to the setup of the Modules directory and the General Adapter run.

The purpose of this change is to move all model related data from the ModuleDataSetFiles into the module directory and to reduce the disk space used to keep the baseData.

Please conduct the following steps for each scenario:

  1. Unzip XXX_runMF_ref(yyy) 2.00 default.zip from /Config/ModuleDataSetFiles into /Modules/XXX/YYY/baseData
  2. Ensure that none of the files in the /baseData directory is read-only
  3. Zip all Modflow files in this /baseData directory into a file called XXX_runMF_ref(yyy)_baseData.zip
  4. Delete the Modflow files in the /baseData-directory
  5. Delete XXX_runMF_ref(yyy) 2.00 default.zip from /Config/ModuleDataSetFiles directory
  6. regenerate runMF-files with Generator_v4.04

Where XXX is the model, yyy is the scenario-type and 2.00 is a version number

Any new ModuleInstance XML-file generated with NGMSmodinst_genv4.04.zip onwards assumes that this upgrade has been conducted.
