During this 3 month internship, I work on the Ropes JIP. Ropes is a newly devoloped program that can be used to calculate forces on a moored ship when another vessel passes. Deltares performs part of the model tests that are used for the validation of the program, focussing on ships moored in complex harbour geometries.
