IMS Process Review

In previous steps of this section a megasite management plan (MMP), followed by a monitoring plan, have been developed and implemented for three examples of megasites.

Following the management principles of the ‘Plan-do-check-act’ Demming circle, the performance and effects of the plans and the risk reduction measures implemented need to be checked on a regular basis. Evaluation of the results may lead to adjustment of the original goals and plans.

In this step, the procedure for this review and adjustment is described. This step is structured as follows:

  1. Checking and reviewing goals, boundary conditions and effects of measures
  2. The evaluation and adjustment of goals and plans

    Output

The output of this step is a procedure to review and adjust the megasite management and monitoring plans, including the risk reduction measures implemented.
