Results

40 members of Gram Vikas' staff, trained as Bare Foot Hydrologists capable of monitoring the quality of their village water supply and having practical knowledge about protection of wells against pollution by human activities.
* A water monitoring Toolkit for Bare Foot Hydrologists developed, tested in the field and ready for broad application and use by local people with no higher education (bare foot hydrologists).
* Practical advices and a manual for Gram Vikas staff focussing on well design, installation and protection of wells.
* Improved network, resulting in cooperation of Gram Vikas with local research institutes and governmental institutions, focussing on water and sanitation projects.
