OpenMI at Open Water Symposium
OpenMI was presented in a few talks and was mentioned quite a few times.
One of the workshops covered C#-DotSpatial. This new version, a follow up of the ActiveX control, looks quite nice. It will be used in Pipistrelle.
Status OGC
The Association decided to go for the fast track.
A Memorandum of Understanding to be signed not too long from now.
First scanning by Standa, leading to reformatting of the documentationm, maybe some additional documentation. No changes needed to the standard itself. However, we do need a test program that loads a component and checks whether it is OpenMI compliant.
Standa will be in the lead for the technical part. He will ask the OATC members who can contribute (and who has time). At the AGM the 'big players' guaranteed to contribute 50 man days all together (about 10 per partner).
SDK's / GUI's
Fluid Earth SDK/Pipistrelle
First half a of june the OATC will be able to play around with a first version. It will be able to run 2.0 compositions.
Oatc c#
Oatc java SDK
Oatc GUI
