1.3 Using the Import Wizard together with HYMOS
The HYMOS Import Wizard directly moves data into the database. This action is restricted to users authorised to open the database in HYMOS. The import template contains login name and password of the user that is responsible for import. As this information is checked by the HYMOS Import Wizard the user cannot use HYMOS concurrent to the HYMOS Import Wizard, as this effectively means a double login. To avoid such situations one could think of adding an extra user name, dedicated to HYMOS Import Wizard activities.
When adding data to a certain database that is in use at the time by another user, this other user should be aware that the newly imported data is not visible until the next time the database is opened. It is therefore recommended not to add data to a database that is in use by another user.
