The user has to create a surface line with ascending x-value from channel side of the embankment till the dike top at the polder side.
The riverside has to be on the left side as shown in the figure below.
D-FLOW SLIDE simplifies this original surface line from DAM or Ringtoets (WTI) and only use a set of this points.

So, thhe following 5 characteristics points are obligated in D-FlowSlide with ascending x-values.
- Bottom river channel (B)
- Insert river channel (C)
- Dike toe at river (D)
- Dike top at river (G)
- Dike top at polder (J)
