The tool to publish datasets to the Fair Data Finder can be found here https://facilities-fair-data.avi.directory.intra/#/
Only authorized employees from a facility are allowed to publish datasets for their facility. It is therefore required to login the Fair Data Finder with your Deltares credentials.
After a successful login an overview of the datasets which are already published will be shown. Note that you will only see the datasets for the facilities to which you are authorized.
To add a new dataset you have to click the add experiment button. A form to fill in the details of your project will be displayed.
First a project number must be provided. The application has a link with Maconomy so the provided project number will be validated by quering Maconomy.
After a valid project number is provided the project title will be filled in automatically but can be changed manually if needed.
A more detailed description can be added in the project description. The creator is filled in by the application itself and is derived from the login credentials and cannot be changed.
The project location is the location were the dataset can be found. This is usually a location at the P-drive.
The facility is a list of facilities for which the employee is allowed to publish datasets. After selecting a facility the keywords for the selected facility will be loaded.
The keywords are structured in a hierachical way. You can select the relevant keywords by checking the checkboxes of the keywords which apply to your project.
The dataset can be published by using the Publish project data button.
