The data in the Deltares Open Archive can be accessed by using the Delft-FEWS web services and THREDDS.
Scalar data from Delft-FEWS web services
The Delft-FEWS web services can be deployed to read scalar data directly read from the archive. Scalar data can be read in pi-xml or pi-json. The catalogue from the OpenArchive can also be accessed by the Delft-FEWS web services. This will allow for searching for data sets in the OpenArchive. If the location of a data set is retrieved by using the catalogue it can be accessed by using THREDDS. By using THREDDS the data can be downloaded by using HTTP or accessed by using OpenDAP.
Ensemble Verification System
An good example of a third party application which can connect to the PI-webservice is the EVS (Ensemble Verification System). The EVS can use the Delft-FEWS web services as a data source. The data in the archive will be accessed by using the seamless integration.
