We use FEWS-WIS to store and manage historical groundwater level measurements. During a secondary validation run on these measurements (outside of FEWS) we changed and deleted certain segments of the measurements. 

Is it possible to import this new set of TimeSeries and thereby overwriting áll of the current TimeSeries? So also in the case where there currently is, at a certain timestamp, faulty data stored in FEWS, but no data in the new dataset? Using "External Historical" as a timeSeriesType the 'faulty' data would remain, while it should be deleted.

If this is not possible, what would be the preferred way to deal with such a situation?
