There are multiple fallback options for the meteo input. The hyarchie is as follows:

  1. CPTEC 1km
  2. CPTEC 5km
  3. GFS 0.5degrees
  4. Extrapolate last value: -3days for hindcast and +3days for forecast
  5. Seasonal fallback: period 2010 untill 2025
  6. Constant value
