Construction part 1
21 and 22 November 2012, the first part of the sandy creek ridge pilot in Serooskerke Walcheren has been constructed by draineur Rutten. The parcel of farmer Johan Sanderse now has a drainage ditch so that soon fresh water can infiltrate. With the increased groundwater level, we expect a thicker freshwater lens. Soon all kinds of measuring equipment will be installed to monitor these effects.
