3.1 User authentication

Access to a HYMOS database is restricted to its users. In this screen you need to identify yourself so the Import Wizard can check if you have authorization to enter this database. If you are currently logged in to HYMOS user authentication will recognise this and will not authenticate as this will be seen as a duplicate login. In this case you need to logout from HYMOS to continue using the HYMOS Import Wizard. To avoid authentication problems one can consider creating a new user name specifically for the HYMOS Import Wizard.

When the box Store credentials in template is checked, your username and password will be stored in the template. The password is encrypted and can be considered safely stored. If you do not store the username and password in the template, unattended import will only be possible by specifying the username and password in the command line. This has to be done in clear text and is less safe.
