Introduction
The STREAM Library is a freely available Matlab toolbox developed by Deltares for use in scientific measurements, especially in the field of geotechnical engineering. It is based on the STREAM Concept, which seperates the data of a test from the definition of a test (Testdefinition). For each type of test a Testdefinition needs to be developed, that can be used for several instances of this type of test.
From the beginning to the end of a test 5 different phases can be distinguished, which gives insight in the phasing of a test. Each phase (Setup, Measurement, Analysis, Report, Filing) needs and delivers data, with different roles assigned to specific data. The completeness of the data can be checked against the Testdefinition at the end of each phase.
