The 'Tide Database' Toolbox can be used to export tidal amplitude and phase phases.Delft Dashboard is delivered with three tide models: TPXO 6.2, TPXO 7.2 and European Shelf 2008. When this data is exported the user is able to visualize the phases and amplitude on a map in.
“*.tek” format. These can be used to generate co-amplitude and co-phase lines with one of the Delft3D post-processors
An Tekal-file can be generate using the following steps:
- Define the area of interest
- Draw a box on the map
- Define xmin, xmax, ymin and ymax
- Click on 'Export' which will generate a seperate Tekal-file. A Tekal-file (.tek) can be used to used with one of the available post-processors (e.g. Quickplot or Muppet)
