The term ModuleInstances is used to define data processing steps.ModuelInstances generate data (TimeSeriesSets) which are stored in the database. In a client-server situation, it is essential that the synchronization-level is defined as this determines when the data needs to be downloaded to the client. This data can be downloaded to the Operator Client dependent on the synchLevel defined at the moduleInstance. In other words: the ModuleInstance defines the synchLevel assigned to the data. The user login profile determines which synchLevels are downloaded.
