* Developing and validating a *numerical chain* consisting of the *Boussinesq*\-type wave propagation model Triton coupled subsequently to Harberth and Quaysim (Van der Molen), creating a method to numerically determine the *wave climate at a berth* and the *motion response of a* *moored* *vessel* at that berth.
* Using this numerical model chain to understand and eventually solve the inoperativeness issue at an oil berth in the *Port of Leixões, Portugal*, caused primarily by *low frequency waves*.
