The default timestep by which the time navigator slider moves is by default the cardinal timestep which is configured in the explorer.xml configuration file, see FEWS Explorer Configuration. The This optional timeNavigatorTimeStep element can be used to use a different timestep for the time navigator than the cardinal timestep.
