Since 2012 JONSMOD applies a rotating chairmanship. Pierre Garreau from IFREMER, Brest organized the JONSMOD2012 conference and was the chairman till the 2014 conference. In 2014, Patrick Luyten from MUMM, Brussels organized the JONSMOD2012 conference and has taken over the JONSMOD chairmanship. In 2016, Lars Petter Røed organized the JONSMOD 2016 conference will be organised in Oslo at the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway) and Centre for Interdisciplinary Environmental and Social Research (CIENS) Oslo, Norway. In 2018, the JONSMOD Conference will be hosted by Lars Petter Røed (larspr@met.no)Stefano Taddei.
