Unknown macro: {import}

Computes wind field and pressure drop generated by a cyclone. “Draw track” is used to draw a cyclone track with mouse click and then defining “Time step (hrs)”, Maximum wind speed ”Vmax (kts)”, and Radius of maximum wind speed “Rmax (Nm)” (Figure 4.5). It is also possible to load tracks of cyclones (“*.cyc”) from available databases using “Import track”.

A number of parameters related to the Spiderweb, which will be following the cyclone in the computation can also be defined under “Spiderweb Parameters”. “Dir bins” (directional bins) and “Radial bins” are used to define directional and radial bins of the spider web.

“Compute cyclone” generates a spider web file “*. spw” containing wind field and pressure drop which can be imported in Delft3D.
