The following minimum system requirements are needed in order to install and run the program D-Flow Slide:

- Windows 2008
- Windows 7- 32 bits
- Windows 7- 64 bits
- Windows 8.
Hardware specifications
- 1 GHz Intel Pentium processor or equivalent
- 512 MB of RAM
- 500 MB free hard disk space
- SVGA videokaart, 1024 x 768 pixels, high colors (16 bits)
The program D-FlowSlide can be download from the download portal of Deltares
Install the program without administrator privileges!
If you have Administrator privileges you will be able to use the default directory 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Deltares\D-Flow Slide\’ to install D-FlowSlide.
If not or getting a message that only an administrator can Install D-Flowslide, please select an other directory with read/write permission: For example use: D:\Deltares\D-Flow Slide\’.
To un-install the program, you need Administrator privileges. The templates files in your personal profile directory will not be removed.
An alternative way, if you do not have administrator privileges, is just remove the directory of the program and remove program from the "Start" menu.
Flow Slide projectfile
The project file of D-Flow Side has the extension *.fsx and it has the folowing characteristisc:
- It is a XML-file.
- It contains the input data with the problem definition. So the file can be reused in subsequent analyses (Please use "Save as" to save each alternative calculation)
- After a calculation has been performed, all output data will be stored into this file Project file too.
